ABOUT ME

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) in the state of Washington with a  Masters in Couples and Family Therapy from Seattle University.

Prior to my graduate studies, I received my undergraduate degree in Art History and Studio Arts, and spent much of my 20's trying to find a career that felt both meaningful and creative. I worked in various settings within museums and schools, before discovering the life changing power of therapy. Now, as a therapist myself, I find so much joy and humility being able to witness my clients growth, and being in a field where I am continuously learning and growing myself.

Coming from a Family Systems background allows me to see and consider not only what is happening for you internally, but also relationally, within the therapeutic relationship and the relationships you hold in the world. I am always conscious of the external systems and context in which you exist. With a holistic bio-psycho-social and spiritual lens, I welcome all aspects of your sense of self-hood.

I have post-graduate training in evidenced-based relational therapies,  Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), PACT, and The Gottman Method. Additionally, I have specialized experience working with issues of grief and bereavement in families.

Outside of my professional life, and as a PNW native, I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. I value nature as a way to feel a sense of awe, inspiration, and more connection to myself and to something greater.
